You MUST learn to look past all that is not important, and FOCUS on what is! Until you do, all else in your life, including those you love and cherish, can and will suffer.

When you “have too many things on your plate,” everything else has the tendency to suffer. I’m not talking about food. I’m talking about life.

Look at it like this… if your life was a cup and you fill it with water, it can only hold so much. Eventually, you add too much and things spill out over the side. When we add too many things “to do” in our lives, the things that are most important to us tend to suffer because they don’t have as much of our attention as they should.

Prioritize, eliminate, and focus… then those things you thought you didn’t have time to get done before, all of a sudden you’re able to focus better on them, get them done quicker, and your list begins to shorten…ACHIEVE!

You’ll begin to find that things get done better and you stress less. As you stress less, you feel better. As you feel better, you function better. When you function better, you get things done. When you get things done you feel better…and the cycle repeats.

So, today, not later…right now…prioritize the things in your life that are of greatest importance. Eliminate things that are NOT important and are just taking up space. Focus on the things you have to do and get them done. It is a change in the way most people think, but, if you can learn to say no, learn to eliminate useless things and activities (yes, too much tv, video games, facebook surfing, etc.), and focus on the truly meaningful and important things… you will be surprised how your life can change and what you can achieve.
