What Do You Do?

Every morning Monday through Friday at 4:50 am, my alarm clock goes off. Now, I could choose one of 3 things to do. I could hit snooze many times until it’s too late to get the workout in, I could turn the alarm off and sleep in another hour, or I could crawl my tired butt out the bed and workout. What do I choose you ask? I choose to crawl out the bed and WORKOUT!!!!

Now some of you may be thinking, 4:50am!?! YES! 4:50 am! It’s early I realize. However, if I did NOT wake up early and get my workout in before work, guess what would happen? I wouldn’t workout! By the time I work all day, come home, fix supper, do some laundry or cleaning, the LAST thing I want to even think about is doing exercise. So, I choose to wake up before the birds because this is what works for ME. As I tell others asking about what time to workout, you have to pick the time that works best for YOU! It makes all the difference in the world once you figure that out.

Now, some of you may also be thinking, well what do you do on the weekends? Guess what, I sleep in! Yep, sure do. Do I still workout on the weekends? Yep, sure do! Just because it’s the weekend isn’t a good enough excuse for me to not workout. Sure I may not always feel like working out on my weekends off, but I still DO! If I have plans, I arrange my workout around the plans.

I am COMMITTED to my health and fitness, have been since August 2011 and I don’t plan to change. Make the decision to change your life, and roll with it! No matter what life throws at you, no matter how you feel, no matter what’s going on around you. Take care of YOU!!
