WHAT is your motivation to do anything in life, or WHO is your motivation, or what is your WHY to do it?

Before and After

We get asked all the time, ‘how do y’all stay motivated to workout every day?’ To which we reply, it’s not that we’re more motivated than anyone else or that we ‘want’ to get up early every day to workout. Sure we love what we do and we feel great once it’s done. But what’s most important to know here, it’s not motivation that drives us every day- it’s simply that we’ve developed a consistent routine that is now a daily habit for us.

Until you figure out the what-who-why that drives you, chances are you won’t commit. Or if you do start something, but you don’t know the reasons, chances are you’ll quit early because you have nothing strong enough pushing you to stay committed.

Think about resolutions. How many people quit before 30 days is up, or a week even? Because “I’m just not motivated to do it.” or “I just can’t seem to find motivation.”
It’s great to make a resolution or a goal, but why do you want that end goal? How’s it going to make you feel? What’s it going to do for you? Who are doing it for? Why? Think BEYOND motivation!

My drive and push for every area of my life comes from within, because ain’t nobody gonna do it for me! But it also comes from my deep desire to be a better person and to live my best life- my why! I want to be a healthy and thriving wife for my husband- my who! And my what is my desire for this be a year of growth in every way and to be fearless and faith’FULL in everything I do.

So we’re on day 15 of the new year, think about these things as you strive to do better this year, and make sure your who, what, and why are strong enough to push you every day! Start developing your ‘habit muscles’, and keep going every day! Pretty soon, it’ll be a new year again and you’ll be so glad you didn’t quit!

With Love,
Brandy
