The first Friday every February is National Wear Red Day to support awareness of heart disease and stroke in women. Every year I like to gently remind my ladies of the importance of a healthy lifestyle:

❤Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 4 deaths among women each year. That’s a horrible number ladies!
❤80% of cardiac and stroke events can be PREVENTED with education, physical activity, AND nutrition. Get up and move and eat better! It’s not a pick and choose.
❤Research your family history, watch for early signs of problems, and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Risk Factors-
👉High blood pressure, high cholesterol, and smoking are key risk factors for heart disease.

👉Several other medical conditions and lifestyle choices can also put people at a higher risk for heart disease, including:
Diabetes
Overweight and obesity
Poor diet
Physical inactivity
Excessive alcohol use

Knowledge is power! PREVENTION is key!
Start moving, eat better, and do what you can today to prevent heart disease and stroke. You still have time no matter what your age is.

❤Message me today. I’m happy to help you get started on a heart healthy journey! ❤

With Love,
Brandy 🙂
