Working at home full time now doesn’t allow for much change of scenery, so a goal of mine this year is to get out the house at least once a week to work. Fridays are PERFECT for that because Bryan is off on Fridays, and we love working together, most the time. 😉

When you stay cooped up inside, or in the same place for too long, it can totally affect your mood, spirits, and creativity! I can always tell when it’s time to get out and roam. I get moody, antsy, bored, less productive, more tired, low on energy…. because there’s nothing new to stimulate my brain or senses at home!

So today, we worked at a local coffee house nearby, sipping cappuccinos working our business together, doing some trainings, and just enjoying a different place to squat at for a while.

I got more done in a short time than I get done some days at home in an entire day. BOOM!

It could be the caffeine boost, or it could be working across from this guy, or it could just be that I’m onto something here and this whole change of scenery was an amazing boost today to my mind, body, and spirit!

Whatever it is, I like it!

It’s so easy to get comfortable where you work, and not do anything all week to stimulate your mind. So if you are feeling bored, under-stimulated, moody, stir crazy, or just feeling what I call ‘crazy crazy’, make it a goal to get out your house more, especially if you work from home full time like me!
