TIP #7- Cut off the Caffeine by ___

Having caffeine as much as 6 hours before bedtime can affect your sleep.

Caffeine has a “half life” of about 5-8 hours, which means for example- after 8 hours, you still have half of that cup of caffeine in your system, and thus affects sleep. This is why is takes a few days to wean completely off caffeine.

Caffeine also provokes your body to produce 2 anti-sleep hormones!

Tip-
Set your ‘curfew’ for caffeine- for most people it’s by 2pm, but if you are really sensitive, you may want to have your morning cup and call it a day.
