TIP #2- Be COOL!
If the temperature you sleep in is too high/hot, your body stays in a state of arousal and you will struggle to fall asleep bc your body is trying to adjust its internal thermostat.
Ideal room temp for sleep is 60-68 degrees acc to studies. “anything too far below or above will likely cause difficulty sleeping.”
TIPS-
Keep your thermostat close to 68, but don’t go to sleep in flannel then cover yourself up with 3 blankets- bc this keeps your body temp too high and you still aren’t gonna sleep good.
If you have trouble falling asleep- try a warm bath 1.5-2 hours before bedtime- your body temp will rise from the bath then level out when it’s time for bed
If you have cold feet, sleep with socks on- but loose fluffy socks so you aren’t cutting off circulation which can hinder sleep.
Soooooo, who’s light bill is about to be jacked up?
