So I’ve been working out for a while now, and I’ve done many programs. I love love love a good challenge and new workouts!
But what happens when I start to get bored?
Well, I don’t want to workout! I start snoozing when the alarm clock goes off at 450am, I piddle around the kitchen trying to talk myself into the workout, and eventually I end up doing it. But my heart isn’t in it.
Who wants to workout like that? Not me, it makes me unhappy. Most times once I get started I’m ok and I’m glad I did the workout. But after going through these motions for about a week, I know it’s time to switch it up.
I always finish my programs, just want to make sure that’s said. I don’t just quit programs. I like routine and if I’m going to start something, I plan to finish it and I do.
But I’m always thinking about my next program and what I’m going to get into next! Give me a challenge! I love the challenge of a tough workout!!!
So let me ask you… Are you bored with your workout or feel like quitting?
Don’t let yourself get bored! When people start getting bored, they want to quit. Don’t quit! Pick something else to do, change things up, do something different. But don’t quit!

Absolutely! You have to enjoy what you’re doing… else you will begin to hate it after a while…
Great Post! It’s so easy to get bored with the repetition sometimes. Having a workout partner is the best way to keep lively.
