LAST TIP- Get “grounded”…

This one was quite interesting and at first I was like, what in the world….

But listen…

It’s about being grounded, ‘earthed’, connected with the ground underneath your feet and the things around you….

Every tissue in your body carries a charge. Inflammation, cell damage, stress- release positive charges that need to be neutralized. Here comes in the antioxidants that everyone tells you to eat and take in that helps with all this. However, the best way to neutralize all this bad stuff, is by getting “grounded” with the earth- which releases free electrons readily absorbed by your body.

Studies have actually shown that just by getting in contact with the earth underneath your feet, it can lower your risk of heart attack and stress and inflammation.

How this relates to sleep? Less inflammation, stress, illness, things your body is fighting, the better sleep you will get….

It can be grass, sand, dirt, the ocean… Think about how good you sleep after a day at the beach- walking in the sand all day and playing in the ocean. Think about how good we slept as kids- playing barefoot in the grass all day(and outside in the sun).
