HEALTH NOW OR SICKNESS LATER?

Which would you choose?

I’m pretty sure most of us, if not all of us would say, health now! Who wants to be sick later, or now even?!?

Not me!

A lot of people say “I just don’t know what better, or healthier choices are when it comes to food.”

I was there once, trust me. And I still learn new things every day! I’m not an expert, but I do have a wide knowledge base of healthy foods and healthier eating. I taught myself at first, read a ton of articles online, asked questions. If you have internet access or a smart phone, you can learn alot! The knowledge and information is literally at your fingertips. All you have to do is search! And be willing to learn and be teachable.

I also took a certification course to become a Personal Fitness Chef, helping people eat better, eat healthy, and plan healthy meals. And yes, I offer private one on one consults.

A lot of people also say, “it’s too expensive to eat healthy!”

While fresh fruits, vegetables, and foods can cost more, it’s all in how you look at it. Yes that bag of fruit is more expensive than that bag of skittles!  Is a sweet potato or a bag of potato chips better? Is that McDonald’s 10 piece chicken nugget healthy, or is going home to make your own fresh nuggets better? What’s the better choices? What’s going to feed and fuel your body and what’s going to add more sugar and processed “crap” in your body? I think we all know the answers here. It’s up to you however to make the change!

Then I also hear, “well making my own foods takes too long!”

Sure it takes time to cook and make your own meals! But it doesn’t have to be elaborate 5 course meals you’re making, nor ‘fancy” dishes, but it does need to be healthy. And if you plan ahead and plan some time during the week or weekend to do what I call “food prep”, it’s so much easier! And it can certainly be enjoyable!

So, I ask again, do you want to be healthy now by eating right, or sick later(or now even) by eating bad?fruits

It’s time to decide! I’m here to help if you need more personal one on one nutrition advice or planning. You can email me at CoachBrandy@itsthemartins.com.
