My “little gift” from God.

No, she’s not a human being nor do we see her as such… but, she’s a gift still the same. She’s taught me so much about love, patience, gentleness… and how what you GIVE is what you GET. When I give her the love, attention, and even SPACE when she needs it… she gives it all back.

My baby has now lost MOST of her sight… and as heartbreaking as it is she is now teaching me even MORE lessons… new ones… about TRUST and UNDERSTANDING… and even FAITH… that no matter what happens, something GOOD will come out of it and that come what may we WILL make it through.

It’s CRAZY how fast it all happened… we still expect to see her running around the back yard and even the living room antagonizing Meeko to play. He’s having a time understanding even why she won’t play the same, why she keeps “getting in the way,” and why much more of our attention has been going to her lately. So we have to make sure HE gets a lot of love too.

But, while this is ALL still a huge challenge for us… we have faith that God has a plan for it… yes, even through His “little gifts” like Evie and Meeko, He teaches us SO much.
